Alexander Lukashenko addressed the elected President of Uruguay Yamandu Orsi.

The head of the Belarusian state congratulated the politician who became his colleague on his election to the highest official post in this South American country.

The text of the message draws attention to the fact that Uruguayans have demonstrated a high level of trust in the country’s course towards social and economic development while simultaneously strengthening its international authority.

This is the direction in which the state will move under your leadership in the next five years, the press service of the President of Belarus quotes him as saying.

He assured the addressee that he could be confident in Minsk as a reliable and responsible partner.
