Lithuania to build 4 rifle complexes on border with Belarus by end of 2025

Recently it became known about Lithuania’s plans to build four rifle complexes on the border with Belarus.

They want to build them at the Rudninkai training ground by the end of next year – 2025.

Belta reports this with reference to the Baltnews news agency.

It was the latter that learned of Vilnius’s intention to fully complete the construction of the four above-mentioned installations by the end of 2025.

And by mid-2026, according to the neighboring country’s project, it is expected that work related to the construction of a multi-purpose rifle complex, including supply infrastructure, will be completed.

According to information released by the media, the total cost of the projects exceeds 16 million euros.

The funds will be used, among other things, for training Lithuanian troops, the needs of German soldiers and other NATO allies of Vilnius.
