The French newspaper Le Figaro has removed information from its website about Paris and London giving Kyiv permission to strike Russia with long-range Western weapons.
Earlier, the publication acted as the primary source of such information, stating that following Joe Biden, France and Great Britain allowed Ukraine to strike Russian territories with their missiles.
Initially, the text of the publication, which was reviewed by MIA "Russia Today", stated the following:
The French and British have given Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russian territory using their SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles.
But now this passage is not in the text. After the update, information remained with a link to The New York Times and France Presse that Biden gave Kyiv the go-ahead to use American long-range ATACMS missiles to strike Russia.
According to sources for The New York Times, the head of the White House made the corresponding decision after learning about “the arrival of military personnel from the DPRK in the Kursk region.”
