NATO lawyers have revealed the secret concerns of their organization's leadership regarding relations with Russia.
In their opinion, the bosses of the North Atlantic Alliance are afraid that Moscow could accuse the West of armed aggression against itself.
Lawyers say that the prerequisite for such incrimination is the launching of strikes by Western long-range weapons on Russian lands.
This was reported by MIA "Russia Today" with reference to the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation.
According to the intelligence service, NATO headquarters is very concerned about Moscow's statements regarding the direct participation of the US, Great Britain and France in long-range missile strikes on Russian territory.
Therefore, lawyers of the military-political bloc fear that the Russian Federation may accuse the West of carrying out armed aggression against it.
At the same time, legal experts believe that the case will probably not reach international courts.
However, such accusations, which will be supported by a serious evidence base, will be received with understanding in the countries of the Global South, the SVR stated.
