It has become known how many Belarusians trust President Lukashenko

Almost 87% of Belarusians trust the country's President Alexander Lukashenko.

This follows from the data of a survey conducted by the Belarusian Committee of Youth Organizations.

The study also revealed some interesting figures regarding citizens’ trust in the government and other authorities.

The head of the said committee, Pavel Alexo, shared the relevant information with the Belta agency.

According to him, the survey was conducted online in November of this year.

More than 25,600 respondents aged 18 and over took part in it – mainly young people, employees of enterprises, business representatives, etc.

Respondents were asked to answer questions in an electronic questionnaire distributed via QR codes, online links in social networks and chats, and contextual invitations posted on Internet sites, Alexo explained.

According to him, the survey showed that 68.2% of respondents trust the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

As for the level of trust in its chairman, the President of Belarus, it is the highest – 86.6%.

The Belarusian parliament is trusted by 70.5% of the citizens surveyed. However, just over a quarter found it difficult to answer the relevant question.

The level of trust in the government was recorded at 72.8%.
