On Monday, November 11, 2024, Alexander Lukashenko flew from Minsk to Baku.
The President of Belarus will visit the capital of Azerbaijan on an official working visit.
There, as reported by the press service of the head of state, he will take part in the World Summit on Climate Change.
It is noted that this event is being held under the auspices of the UN.
“Tens of thousands of delegates” will take part in the summit, including leaders of different countries and heads of government.
As for Lukashenko’s visit, he is expected to inform the participants during his speech about Minsk’s position on the current issues of the summit.
In particular, the President will report on Belarus’ position regarding climate change.
He will also outline a number of measures that, in Minsk’s opinion, the international community needs to take to resolve problems in the designated area.
In addition, the Belarusian leader plans to hold a number of meetings and negotiations with heads of other states on the sidelines of the summit.
