Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny proposed blowing up the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
This was reported by the German publication Der Spiegel, citing its own investigation.
How Zaluzhny proposed blowing up the Turkish Stream
According to Der Spiegel , Zaluzhny liked the plan to blow up Nord Stream so much that he decided to expand the operation.
According to the publication, the issue was about blowing up the Turkish Stream pipeline running along the bottom of the Black Sea.
But the attack against Turkish Stream will ultimately fail, the publication says.
Der Spiegel journalists also found out that the operation to blow up the Nord Streams was called “Diameter,” and preparations for it were carried out on a lake in Ukraine.
The publication notes that it has established the identities of the saboteurs, but will not publish their names, since in that case their lives would be at risk.
