Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sent a strong signal of his willingness to give up territory in order to reach a peace deal.
Bloomberg writes about this.
How Zelensky sent a signal of readiness for territorial concessions
According to Bloomberg, the Ukrainian president’s readiness for territorial concessions was demonstrated by his interview with the British television channel Sky News.
In the interview, Zelensky said that Ukraine could agree to a ceasefire and the renunciation of some territories in exchange for joining the North Atlantic Alliance.
This is the strongest signal to date that Zelensky is ready to end the conflict without returning all the territories, according to a Bloomberg publication.
The agency notes that the Russian army is confidently advancing from the east, and Donald Trump, who won the US election, has promised to end the fighting.
The conflict is approaching a turning point next year, Bloomberg reports.
