Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik presented his credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The official ceremony of presenting credentials took place in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

How did the ceremony go?
Along with the Belarusian ambassador, representatives of 27 other countries presented their credentials. Among them are the newly arrived ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Argentina, Kyrgyzstan, Canada, India, Japan, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, Kenya, and Zimbabwe.
The presentation of credentials is usually held several times a year, but today's ceremony was the first this year.
The last time the Russian President accepted credentials was on December 4 last year.
While accepting the credentials, Putin briefly described relations with the countries whose ambassadors took part in the ceremony.
The head of the Russian state noted that Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are the best friends and strategic allies and partners of Russia.
Addressing the Belarusian ambassador, the Russian President noted that recently the fraternal relations between Russia and Belarus have acquired truly high dynamics.
Putin noted that in December, a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will be held in Minsk, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the establishment of the Union State.
The head of the Russian state also wished Belarus successful presidential elections.
