Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused the United States of leaking a secret point of the victory plan.
The head of the Ukrainian state made a corresponding statement on October 30 at a press conference for Northern European media.
A video from the event was published on Zelensky's Telegram channel.
What Zelensky accused the US of
At a press conference, Zelensky expressed outrage that information had leaked to Western media that the victory plan contained a request to provide Ukraine with American Tomahawk cruise missiles, which have a range of about 2,400 kilometers.
This was confidential information between Ukraine and the White House. How should these messages be understood? - the head of the Ukrainian state stated.
According to him, this means that “there is nothing confidential between partners.”
Yesterday, the American publication The New York Times, citing sources, reported that the classified part of Zelensky's victory plan contains a request to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.
According to the publication, American officials considered this request absolutely impossible to fulfill.
The publication also reported that the Ukrainian president failed to convince Washington to lift restrictions on strikes deep into Russia.
In total, Zelensky's victory plan contains 5 points and 3 secret additions. The plan provides, in particular, for lifting restrictions on strikes deep into the Russian Federation, inviting Ukraine to the North Atlantic Alliance until the end of the conflict, and deploying a non-nuclear deterrent package in Ukraine.
