The UK has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia.
Restrictions have been introduced in relation to three organizations and three individuals.
The updated list of sanctions has been published on the British government website.
How Britain Expanded Sanctions Against Russia
The sanctions targeted the autonomous non-profit organization Dialogue, the Struktura group of companies, and the Social Design Agency.
The British blacklist also included the directors of Struktura and ASP Ilya Gambashidze, the general director of Struktura Nikolai Tupikin and the program director of ASP Andrei Perla.
The reason for blacklisting these organizations and individuals was the receipt of profits from the Russian government for work on behalf of the government and activities in a strategically important area, namely in the communications, information and digital sectors.
In almost all cases, it is also claimed that the listed organizations and individuals are involved in actions to destabilize Ukraine and undermine its independence and territorial integrity.
The Foreign Office said in a statement that the ASP had attempted to provoke protests in half a dozen European countries this year.
The UK Foreign Office said the individuals sanctioned were responsible for a vast online malware network, also known as Doppelganger, which flooded social media with fake documents, fake messages and deepfakes in English, German and French.
