The Russian Ministry of Defense is considering a response to possible long-range strikes against Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
A video of the statement by the head of the Russian state was published on the journalist’s Telegram channel.
What Putin said about the response to long-range strikes
The Russian President noted that the Ukrainian army cannot independently carry out long-range strikes against the Russian Federation; only specialists from the North Atlantic Alliance countries can do this.
Therefore, Putin continued, NATO countries will issue permission for long-range strikes against Russia not to Kyiv, but to themselves.
According to the head of the Russian state, Russia will have to respond accordingly.
How to react, when, where specifically – it’s too early to talk about this, Putin said.
He noted that the Ministry of Defense is thinking about this and will offer various options.
The Russian President expressed hope that the West heard his warnings about the consequences of long-range strikes against Russia.
They didn’t tell me anything about this, but I hope they heard it, ” said the head of the Russian state.
