The Belarusian leader admitted that he would not like the start of an election campaign more than anything.
According to the politician, Belarusians will “cleanly and accurately” elect a person to the post of head of state who, in their opinion, deserves it.
Therefore, there will be no election campaign, BELTA quotes Alexander Lukashenko as saying.
At the same time, the President noted that even if the discussion really was about activities related to the next presidential elections, he has the right to conduct such a campaign.
Why Lukashenko visits "Dazhynki"
By attending this event, the Belarusian leader, judging by his words, is pursuing a completely different goal.
Thus, the head of state goes to the regions with the aim of thanking Belarusians for their work, for their patriotism, for their enormous contribution to the development of the country and for ensuring the food security of the republic.
