How Putin commented on Kyiv's statement on nuclear weapons
Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine will either join the North Atlantic Alliance or become a nuclear power.
The Russian president called this statement another provocation.
Putin noted that he does not know whether Ukraine is currently capable of creating nuclear weapons.
This is not so simple for Ukraine today. But in general, there are no big difficulties here, - the head of the Russian state reasoned.
He recalled that the Ukrainian authorities had previously declared their intention to acquire nuclear weapons, and stressed that Moscow would not allow this.
Russia will not allow this under any circumstances, the Russian President stated.
