Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said the country should participate in negotiations on Ukraine.
The video with the statement of the head of state was published by the Telegram channel "Pool of the First".
What Lukashenko said about Belarus' participation in Ukraine negotiations
The President said that he told both Ukrainians and Russians that Belarusians should be present at the negotiations.
According to the head of state, he notified Russian President Vladimir Putin about this.
Why? Because it is our problem. I do not want issues to be resolved there – our issues – without us, Lukashenko explained.
He noted that the West is doing everything to prevent Belarus and him personally from participating in negotiations on Ukraine.
Because Lukashenko cannot be broken or bent, he will defend his interests, the head of state emphasized.
