Volodymyr Zelensky presented his “victory plan”.
The corresponding event took place on Wednesday, October 16, in the Ukrainian parliament.
It is noted that this is the first public presentation of the above-mentioned plan.
The list presented by the Ukrainian leader consists of five points.
Volodymyr Zelensky presented the so-called “victory plan” in the Rada, MIA “ Russia Today ” reports, citing one of the Ukrainian media outlets.
The source names two of the five points:
- inviting Ukraine to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (the “victory plan” presented by Zelensky specifies that this should be done before the end of the Ukrainian conflict).
- the deployment of a “non-nuclear deterrent package” on the territory of an Eastern European country.
It is worth noting that the Russian side commented on the “victory plan” several days ago.
Thus, the representative of the Russian delegation at the negotiations in Austria on military security issues, Yulia Zhdanova, called the “plan” of the Ukrainian leader an “ultimatum,” explaining this by the absence in the list of steps for a political and diplomatic settlement.
