According to Politico , next year, Romania will host the North Atlantic Alliance's large-scale exercises, Dacia Spring 2025.
During the exercises, France will practice the transfer of troops to NATO's eastern flank in the event of a conflict with Russia.
In addition, the alliance has instructed France to prepare a division with its own weapons and ammunition by 2027.
"We used to play war. Now we have a specific enemy and we train with people we would fight with, " Bertrand Toujouz, head of the French Army's land command in Europe, told the publication.
Earlier it became known that France was creating a Ground Forces Command Center in the European Union.
