Lukashenko on changes in Russia's nuclear doctrine: new risks have emerged for some, but not for us

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commented on the change in Russia's nuclear doctrine.

The head of state spoke on this topic while answering questions from the media in the Kremlin before the meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State.

What Lukashenko said about changes in the Russian nuclear doctrine

Journalists asked the president what he felt in connection with the changes in Russia’s nuclear doctrine, which also concern Belarus.

The head of state replied that he does not feel anything now, because he already felt it when nuclear weapons returned to Belarus.

And now this is actually a strengthening of the position that we have felt in Belarus for a long time, ” Lukashenko added.

Answering the question whether new risks have emerged for Belarus, the President noted that the world is currently changing rapidly and certain risks are constantly arising or disappearing.

There are new risks for someone, that's for sure. But not for us, - the head of state said.
