Today, October 5, the regional festival-fair "Dazhynki-2024" is being held in the Belarusian city of Mikashevichi.

Belarusian state leader Alexander Lukashenko spoke at the ceremony.

During his speech, the President noted the importance of developing agriculture.

The head of state emphasized that the decision to develop this particular industry had a positive impact on Belarus.

According to Lukashenko, the republic first “fed itself,” and then began to demonstrate success in exporting products.

The politician drew attention to the following fact: Belarusian products are in considerable demand far beyond the country’s borders.

And this, according to the state leader, has greatly helped Belarus in the context of serious sanctions pressure.

Lukashenko called the sanctions imposed against the republic “illegal, fascist, and unprecedented.”

It was the export of agricultural products that gave other industries the opportunity to adapt to the new situation and reorient themselves to other sales markets, the presidential press service quotes Alexander Lukashenko as saying.

The President of Belarus also drew special attention to the following fact: the work of one worker in the agro-industrial complex contributes to the creation of up to 10 jobs in other industries.
