The KGB of Belarus helped the FSB of the Russian Federation identify individuals involved in the preparation of the murders of officers from the Aerospace Forces command.

This was reported by the director of the Federal Security Service of Russia, Alexander Bortnikov.

A number of individuals involved in the preparation of murders of officers of the command staff of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as in the activities of pro-Ukrainian paramilitary structures based in the territory of EU countries, have been identified, the head of the department was quoted by MIA Rossiya Segodnya as saying .

He separately emphasized that the result was achieved jointly with the Belarusian State Security Committee.

In addition, he added, together with Belarusian colleagues, “international channels for the smuggling of military products and raw materials containing platinum group precious metals from Russia through Belarus have been blocked.”

And with the assistance of the special services of Tajikistan, Bortnikov reported, 4 people who had been put on the interstate wanted list for committing crimes of an extremist nature were identified and detained on the territory of the Russian Federation.

With the help of the Uzbek special services, in July the FSB stopped the activities of an interregional cell of an international terrorist organization.

In addition, based on data from partners from Uzbekistan, 5 members of other international terrorist organizations were detained in Russia.

In cooperation with the special services of Kazakhstan, about 4 tons of drugs were discovered and confiscated, the FSB director noted.

He added that what he listed were just a few examples of the results of the department’s joint work with the intelligence services of other countries.
