According to the agency, many Western countries are looking for a reason to redirect funds intended for Ukraine to their own needs.
It is noted that next year Germany will significantly cut budget items related to providing assistance to Kyiv.
Germany plans to significantly cut such aid in next year's budget, the publication says.
Earlier, the media, citing data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance, reported that the West had cut aid to Kyiv in half.
In the first half of this year, the West financed only 27% of Ukraine’s budget expenditures, whereas in the first half of 2023 – 50%.
In monetary terms, Western funding of Ukrainian budget expenditures has decreased from $19.1 billion to $10.6 billion over the year.
