Alexander Lukashenko proposed a universal formula for cooperation to the heads of Russian regions.
Initiated a response to Western sanctions by purchasing food and goods from Belarus.
If something is banned, buy Belarusian, the President’s press service quotes him as saying.
It is noted that he voiced this proposal during a meeting with the head of the Yakutia administration, Aisen Nikolaev.
Sanctions
Speaking about the current conditions of cooperation between Minsk and Russian regions, including Yakutsk, the Belarusian leader mentioned pressure from the West.
I mean Western fascist sanctions. As I tell every Russian governor: if something is banned, buy Belarusian, he said.
According to the head of state, Belarus is capable of replacing Western goods in Russia “by many percent.”
The same applies to Yakutia, which needs to replace imported equipment for mining enterprises.
The President noted that Belarus produces such equipment. In this regard, he sees it possible to increase supplies several times.
And BelAZ trucks, according to him, will help Yakutia “exceed all plans for the extraction of minerals.”
Lukashenko added: Belarusian dump trucks have proven themselves to be the best in Russia.
Multi-brand service center
He pointed out the possibility of supplying mining equipment to Yakutia from the Soligorsk manufacturer Niva-Holding.
The President called this product an excellent alternative to foreign analogues, emphasizing that it is produced taking into account the specifics of the work and the requirements of any buyer.
If you wish and are ready to rely on our machines and equipment, Belarus will be able to organize a multi-brand service center in Yakutia, Lukashenko said.
He also suggested that his interlocutor consider the possibility of using Belarusian specialists in the construction of Yakutia.
The head of state named the organization of direct deliveries of Belarusian food products using container shipping as another area of bilateral cooperation.
