Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin stated that the United States and personally American President Joseph Biden were behind the explosion of the Nord Stream gas pipelines.
The State Duma speaker made this statement on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of the sabotage.
What Volodin said about US involvement in the destruction of Nord Stream
The State Duma speaker noted that the investigations by Denmark, Sweden and Germany did not yield any concrete results, and recalled that Russia had received refusals to almost all of its requests.
Volodin also recalled attempts to shift the blame onto a certain pro-Ukrainian group and civilian divers.
There is no trust in such investigations. Washington and Biden personally are behind the explosion of Nord Stream, the parliamentarian wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, it was advantageous for Biden to leave Western Europe without cheap Russian gas and force it to buy it at exorbitant prices from the United States.
Volodin emphasized that the initiators and perpetrators of the terrorist attack must answer for what they did.
There is no statute of limitations here, the State Duma speaker added.
