Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that the country does not need a war with Russia.

Trump made this statement on September 14 during a speech in Las Vegas.

Trump said that a vote for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris is a vote for war with Russia.

If it is necessary, we will do it. But it is desirable not to allow it, - the US presidential candidate stated.

Trump also said that a vote for Harris is a vote for the return of the draft.

According to him, the Democratic candidate wants to send Americans to a war that should not have happened.

Trump has repeatedly promised to resolve the conflict in Ukraine before his inauguration if he returns to the White House, emphasizing that the conflict would not have happened if Russia respected the US President.

He also stated that if he is re-elected, he will immediately personally appeal to the presidents of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, with an appeal to sit down at the negotiating table.
