According to the Russian Defense Ministry, today as a result of negotiations, 103 servicemen captured in the Kursk region were returned from Ukraine, and 103 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were transferred in exchange.
Currently, Russian military personnel are in Belarus, they are receiving medical and psychological assistance, and have been given the opportunity to contact their relatives.
In the future, the military will be transported to Russia for treatment and rehabilitation in the medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense.
The department noted that the UAE acted as an intermediary in the return of the military from captivity.
Yesterday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the return from captivity of 49 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Service, the National Guard and the National Police.
