The question came before Biden had time to deliver his opening statement, during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The American leader then asked the journalist to remain silent while he made a statement.
The media clarified that the journalist's behavior violated the existing protocol, according to which questions from the press can only be asked after statements have been made by politicians.
All this happened in the White House, where the US President and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer had held talks the day before.
It was assumed that during the meeting the politicians discussed the issue of giving Kyiv the opportunity to strike targets deep in Russia's rear with Western weapons.
After the US President finished his speech, a journalist asked the same question, to which Biden replied that he “doesn’t think very highly of Vladimir Putin.”
