President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian.
During the meeting, the head of state conveyed congratulations to his Iranian counterpart and also addressed Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Alexander Lukashenko thanked the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the opportunity to visit.
During the conversation, the politicians discussed the situation in the Middle East, on the borders of Belarus, and in the European region.
The topic of the activities of BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was discussed. At the same time, the President thanked the Iranian authorities for supporting Belarus in joining the SCO.
Alexander Lukashenko also extended an invitation to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Belarus and assured that Belarus remains a reliable partner of Iran.
