It recently became known that London has given Ukraine permission to strike deep into Russia with British long-range Storm Shadow missiles.
However, the UK authorities will not make any official statements on this matter.
This information was published by The Guardian newspaper, citing its own sources.
They indicated that the British authorities do not consider it appropriate to make "overly provocative" comments on this issue.
Having read The Guardian's article, the TASS news agency writes that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also does not plan to discuss the topic in public.
At least, the publication notes, he certainly does not intend to do this after the meeting in the US capital with Joe Biden, scheduled for September 13.
Please note: the leaders of the two countries intend to discuss the current course of events in the Ukrainian conflict and ways to end it.
