Alexander Lukashenko addressed his colleague from Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The reason for this was the Day of State Independence celebrated by this Central Asian country.
The President of Belarus congratulated his colleague on the national holiday on his own behalf and on behalf of all Belarusians.
He noted that the Belarusian people have a “particularly warm” attitude towards Tajikistan, which “harmoniously combines” rich cultural traditions with a focus on the future.
As reported by the press service of the head of the Belarusian state, the message also points out that over the years of independence, Tajikistan has achieved significant success in the following areas:
– economic and social spheres;
– ensuring national security;
– strengthening equal and mutually beneficial cooperation in the international arena.
Lukashenko, according to him, highly values the long-term “trusting dialogue” with his colleague and hopes for its continuation in the same friendly atmosphere.
I am deeply convinced that the Belarusian-Tajik partnership, based on a shared historical past, will continue to actively develop, notes the author of the congratulations.
He wished Emomali Rahmon health and well-being, and all residents of Tajikistan stability, peace and prosperity.
