President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko addressed the residents of Grodno region.
The head of state congratulated them on the 80th anniversary of the formation of the region.
The Belarusian leader called the region “a real pearl” of our country.
Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that the Grodno region combines many things: beautiful nature, a rich history, and a special culture.
The President recalled that the region was founded in the year when Belarus was liberated from the fascist invaders.
At the moment, the region is demonstrating successful development. As Lukashenko emphasized, serious results are achieved thanks to the hard work of local residents.
The head of state also recalled the calling card of the Grodno region. This concerns the agricultural sector, tourism, industry and nuclear energy.
