Volodymyr Zelensky's appeal to allies to end the Ukrainian conflict this fall did not go unnoticed in Moscow.

One of the first to appreciate the Ukrainian initiative was the Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Grigory Karasin.

Senator Karasin believes that Zelensky’s proposal to end the conflict in the fall is entirely realistic, Lenta.ru reports.

But if Kyiv wants to end the conflict with Russia, then some conditions will have to be met.

According to the senator, Ukraine needs to fulfill the conditions previously announced by the Russian president.

But it's not as simple as it might seem.

I have serious doubts that this will happen, because Zelensky is now, apparently, rushing from side to side and behaving somewhat illogically, Karasin told the publication’s journalists in an interview.

In general, the message about the Ukrainian side’s readiness to resolve the conflict was heard.

It should be assumed that further official proposals should come from Kyiv to Moscow.

Let's wait and see, and we will remain cautiously optimistic about this, the senator concluded.

Let us recall that on September 6, during a meeting of the contact group on military assistance to Kyiv "Ramstein" in Germany, Zelensky proposed to the allies to end the conflict this fall.
