On Thursday, September 5, 2024, Alexander Lukashenko met with Chinese Ambassador to Belarus Xie Xiaoyong.
During the event, the head of state informed his interlocutor of his satisfaction with the recent visit to the country of the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang.
By the way, Mr. Xie Xiaoyong is completing his diplomatic mission in Belarus.
He heard from the President of the Republic that Minsk is paying very serious attention to the visit of the Chinese Prime Minister.
We are satisfied with this visit. We are currently working very hard in the government on issues of developing relations on the issues and problems that were identified during the visit of the Prime Minister of the PRC, the Belarusian leader's press service quotes him as saying.
Separately, the head of state noted that Li Qiang highly praised the state of affairs in the Belarusian-Chinese industrial park "Great Stone".
Belarus also pays priority attention to this issue, Lukashenko emphasized.
According to him, there has been a steady increase in the number of park residents, which indicates a high interest in it on the part of Chinese (and not only) companies.
The head of state also thanked Beijing for the technical assistance provided.
