The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the resignation of the head of Ukrainian diplomacy, Dmytro Kuleba.
Zakharova compared his departure and other resignations in the Ukrainian cabinet to falling leaves.
The diplomat’s statement is quoted by MIA “Russia Today” .
What Zakharova said about Kuleba's resignation
Today, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, announced that Kuleba submitted his resignation to parliament.
The entire government in Ukraine has collapsed. What does this mean? Autumn, leaves are falling, branches are being exposed, - Zakharova commented.
Kuleba has headed the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry since March 2020.
Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko (included in the Russian list of extremists and terrorists) claimed that Kuleba's place could be taken by his first deputy Andriy Sybiha or deputy head of the presidential office Mykola Tochitsky.
