The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that following the instructions of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell threatens a military clash between the EU countries and the Russian Federation.
This statement was made on September 3 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

What Zakharova said about Borrell
Commenting at the request of the media on the statement of the head of EU diplomacy justifying the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Zakharova drew attention to the fact that Borrell admitted to trying to impose the most confrontational anti-Russian approaches on his colleagues.
The Russian Foreign Ministry representative stated that Borrell was not allowed to “subjugate decisions in the sphere of defense and foreign policy to the EU bureaucracy.”
According to Zakharova, everyone understands that following Borrell’s “recipes” threatens a military clash between EU countries and Russia.
