Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about how the seizure of the Kursk region affected the actions of his country's army in Donbass.
According to his statement, the attack on the Russian region did not ease the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Donbass soil.
According to him, Ukrainian military personnel are now in a difficult situation there, especially near Pokrovsk and Toretsk.
As for the difficulties in the Pokrovsky and Toretsk directions, we believe that the Kursk operation may also affect this, the head of state is quoted as saying by the MIA Rossiya Segodnya.
Zelensky suggested that the “escalation” in Donbass could decrease due to the reduction in the number of Russian troops, but “it’s still difficult there.”
He noted: Ukraine’s main goal has always been Donbass.
This has always been the main goal – Donbass. There has been no progress there for two days. This is what the commander-in-chief reported to me, – the Ukrainian leader said.
Let us add that earlier Vladimir Putin stated that the Russian army is now taking control of territories in Donbass not by meters, but by square kilometers.
