Any caring dog owner has to face the question: what kind of water can you give your pet?
The answer is simple: running water is best for this purpose. If the water remains in the bowl for a long time, it should be refreshed from time to time, and this procedure should be accompanied by washing the dog's dishes.
The dog can be given regular tap water if it is of satisfactory quality.
It won’t get worse (even the opposite) if the liquid first goes through a filtration procedure.
When the quality of tap water is so low that you yourself would not risk using it for drinking or cooking, you should not offer it to your pet either.
In this case, the water needs to be boiled. In other cases, there is no need to boil water for the dog.
At the same time, we will answer the question of whether it is possible to give mineral water to a dog.
This is only possible if your pet is suffering from thirst and you have nothing else at your disposal.
Important: if the mineral water is also carbonated, before giving it to your dog to drink, try to get as much gas out of the bottle as possible – carbonated water is not suitable for animals.
