Slowly move your palm from head to tail in a circular motion.
This should be done extremely carefully without pressure, especially in the lumbar and spinal areas.
If you are sure that the dog is happy, you can increase the intensity of stroking.
If the dog lies on its back, exposing its belly for stroking, this is a sign that it really likes this procedure.
