Many people want to believe that our pets have the same warm feelings towards us.
Owners often consider dogs to be real members of the family, loved and appreciated.
However, the true feelings of animals remain a mystery to us.
Do dogs love us?
Foreign scientists have been looking for an answer to this question in the course of various studies and even experiments. The answer is unambiguous: yes, dogs love us. Sometimes, of course, there are exceptions.
If the owner, for example, is too harsh towards his pet. Stray dogs may also not be in the best mood. But in both cases the reason is obvious: negative experience.
When a dog looks into the eyes of its owner, its body begins to actively produce oxytocin. The longer you and your beloved animal maintain eye contact, the more active the hormone production becomes.
It is noteworthy that this experiment was also conducted on domestic wolves. They do not have such a feature: the animals are absolutely indifferent to their owners.
