Chinese scientists are concerned about the appetite of cats that eat pet food.

The researchers decided to find out whether it was possible to increase its attractiveness to pets using a flavor additive.

Employees of the Shanghai Institute of Technology have created a flavor enhancer for cat food.

To do this, they used split chicken liver protein and dozens of other enzymes.

As a result, four types of sprays appeared that increase the animal's appetite.

The new product was tasted by 10 cats, who were offered a choice of five bowls of food.

In four out of five cases, regular cat food was used.

In one bowl, dry food was treated with the prepared spray.

The essence of the experiment was the choice of food by cats, as well as the volume of food eaten by the animals in one sitting.

It turned out that the supplement did its job.

Thanks to the large amount of amino acids, the food turned out to be more rich and fatty.

It also turned out that cats liked the mushroom-flavored food.

But they ate sweet and sour foods with less pleasure.
