Dogs rarely pay attention to television.

But sometimes people still notice their four-legged friends looking at the screen.

In such a situation, the owner of the animal may have a question: “Does the pet really see a clear picture?”

Let's note right away that dogs don't always see on TV what people see.

And this is explained by the peculiarities of the pet's vision.

What the dog sees on TV

It depends on two things. The first is the age of the TV. The second is the colors that dominate the screen.

If the TV is very old, the dog sees a flickering light. It is unlikely that the pet will be able to make out anything.

But if the device is more or less new, then the animal most likely sees a “smoother” picture.

But even in this case, the dog may not understand what is shown on the screen.

If blue, yellow and green are the predominant colours, the dog will likely see most of the image.

But if other shades prevail, then the pet is unlikely to see anything clear.
