Many pet lovers face a problem when their cat begins to show an unhealthy interest in house flowers.
There are at least two reasons for concern, and each one is more serious than the other.
Firstly, the curiosity of a cat walking along a windowsill completely covered with flowers will sooner or later lead to a tragedy when the flowerpot with the beloved green “pet” is smashed to pieces.
Secondly, cats can often harm themselves by eating houseplants.
Therefore, it would not hurt to learn about a rather extravagant, but quite effective method that will help wean your pet from walking on the windowsill with flowers.
And it consists of spreading the most ordinary pine cones over the entire plastic (or wooden) surface of the window sill.
Don't have that many pine cones? Replace them with spruce branches - now that the New Year holidays are over, everyone has plenty of that stuff.
Experienced cat owners who have already tried this method are surprised to note that after adding such a small amount of coniferous decor to the room's interior, the animals do not dare to approach the windowsill.
