It would be a mistake to say that all cats are afraid of fireworks – some animals are not sensitive to such sounds.
However, for some pets, such noise, accompanied by flashes of light, causes stress.
Fortunately, the situation is easy to fix - the main thing is to be patient and follow the instructions.
So, first you need to choose 3-4 sounds that your cat doesn't like (including the sound of fireworks). Find a recording of them on the Internet and during the day turn on 2 of them at minimum volume when the cat is busy with something pleasant for her.
The volume of the sound should be gradually increased: you should achieve that your pet continues to do his business when he hears something that previously frightened him.
With the New Year holidays just around the corner, you probably won't have time to complete the loud noise training process before December 31st.
Therefore, if your cat is not yet accustomed to loud noises, make sure that it has a hiding place where it can hide.
This way you will not allow a rollback and sooner or later you will complete what you started.
