Many owners are uncomfortable with the fact that cats consider themselves much smarter than humans.
This seems absurd to us, but animals have a number of reasons for making such conclusions.

Limited focus of attention
Our pets were very successful territorial predators in the past. Instincts, good reaction and attentiveness allowed them to survive.
A person, in the cat’s opinion, would hardly be able to survive in nature.
Basically, the owner stays in one place and does not monitor his "territory", and also lets strangers into his house.
From the cat's point of view, this behavior is quite irresponsible.
Leaving the apartment
Experts note that cats are puzzled by our "strange" behavior: after all, we leave our territory unattended for a long period of time.
Animals think that we are not doing our job of protecting our territory, so they think that our owners are not very smart.
Water
It is known that cats are afraid of water. That is why our love for it causes strange feelings in them. The cat does not understand why we do not realize the threat of water and voluntarily "splash" in it twice a day.
Particularly friendly animals may even follow us into the bathroom and try to pull us out of the "dangerous" water.
