Cats that prefer the owner's bed to their own bed will usually take up a position at the head of the bed or move down to the feet of the sleeping person.

The cat sleeps at the feet
Cats are said to have a real gift, which is to heal their owner's joints. To do this, of course, they need to lie down right on their feet.

If you have no problems with your legs, the cat will sleep in this area solely to demonstrate its leadership position (especially when there are other animals in the house).
The cat is sleeping at the head
Again, in such a situation, a reason related to illness comes to mind. You may not yet notice the signs of a cold, but the cat, sensing the heat, settles down near your forehead, relieving the pain and lowering the temperature.
If your cat is still very young, he may settle down to rest at the head, because he thinks he has found the safest place.
Finally, cats like to spend time in this area to demonstrate their love or, conversely, to show their dominance over a person.
