There are many ways to help you keep your pet away from your furniture.
Perhaps the most pleasant of all this is the use of odors that are unpleasant for animals, but at the same time neutral for humans.
Instead of buying repellant sprays from a pet store, you can make your own.
The main thing is to know which scents your pet doesn’t like.
And the first place in this list is rightfully occupied by citrus fruits. You can spread the peel of oranges and tangerines on the surface of the sofa, or use essential oil.
In the second case, it is worth soaking cotton pads in ether and placing them near the interior items that cats like.
Important: do not apply ethers in their pure form to furniture - they can damage the coating.
You can also use vinegar – but not in its pure form, but as a solution with water. Apply the resulting mixture to the napkins that you use to remove dust from various surfaces, and repeat the cleaning.
Finally, the smell of spices such as cinnamon, cloves or ginger will help repel animals.
