Everyone remembers the fairy tale about the cat that walked by itself? This work very clearly reflects the character of wayward and freedom-loving cats.

Indeed, oftentimes earning a cat's trust is a truly difficult mission, but losing a cat's trust, on the contrary, turns out to be quite easy.

At the same time, the reasons why a cat might harbor a grudge against its owner may seem harmless and not foreshadowing anything bad.

Therefore, all cat owners should especially remember how not to behave with their furry pets.

Loud screams

Loud screams, swearing and other unpleasant noises - all this usually causes discomfort to anyone, and cats are no exception.

If a loud quarrel or other noisy incident occurs in the presence of an animal in the house, then in this case the cat will begin to experience stress, hiding in a secluded place, which it will not leave for a long time. Having left its shelter, the cat is capable of experiencing stress for a long period of time, which may cause unwanted reactions on its part.

Lack of attention

If a tired owner, returning home after a long day at work, regularly distances himself from his pet, who is happy with his person, then soon the offended cat may stop paying attention to the owner, refusing to play with him and show him affection.

Tenderness is not optional

In a situation where the owner wants to pet the cat, picking it up against the animal's will, one should not expect reciprocity from the furry friend. It is also worth remembering that such an attitude towards the cat can seriously offend it and spoil the pet's character.

Disruption of the way of life

Cats are by nature very pedantic. It is safe to say that the life of cats is literally scheduled by the hour. They categorically do not welcome any changes in life.

For example, moving, the arrival of a new pet or the unexpected arrival of noisy guests - all this can be regarded by the cat as a personal insult. An offended cat can make unexpected "surprises".

Dirty tray

Cats are among the cleanest animals, so a litter box that is not cleaned on time is a serious offense for them, worthy of the animal harboring a grudge and carrying out "wet" revenge in another place. Moreover, a litter box that was not washed well enough can cause the same reaction in a cat.

Use of physical force

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly. In no case should you allow yourself to physically abuse a cat. It is impossible to raise an animal this way, but only to offend and cause psychological trauma to the pet.
