As you know, the success of training depends on whether you can motivate the animal to follow commands.

Motivation can be expressed in the form of attention or play.

However, rewarding with affection or play does not always work, so most often dog owners use treats as an incentive.

But there are also situations when a pet can turn up its nose at tasty morsels. In this case, there are 3 ways to resolve the situation.

1. Try dividing a full meal into several parts and using it during training - this way, it turns out that the dog will receive its food ration during the training process.

2. The 50/50 method, as you might have guessed from the name, involves dividing the food into two equal parts. One half should still be put in the bowl as a standard meal, while the other half should be used for training.

3. Finally, try using a treat your dog loves as a reward.

In this case, the dog will receive its daily food ration through a bowl, and will have to earn extra treats during exercise.
