Usually otherworldly forces or restless spirits can live in old houses and apartments where more than one generation of people have lived.
People call it by different names: a ghost, a poltergeist, a brownie, or the spirit of a previous owner.
All these entities can either "get along" with the owners of the house, or, on the contrary, frighten the residents and prevent them from living in peace, driving them out in various ways.
It is very unpleasant and creepy to realize that there is a restless spirit in the house. It is known that, for example, cats have much better hearing and vision than humans.
Therefore, if a person observes such manifestations of evil spirits as objects moving, a feeling as if it is watching closely or touching from nowhere, or blowing icy air, then domestic animals not only feel all this, but also see the otherworldly with their own eyes. This does not bring any joy to animals either.
Otherworldly creatures also cause fear and panic in them, which frightens a person even more. All this becomes a cause for concern, because there should be no otherworldly forces in the house that disturb a peaceful life.
Animals observing the otherworldly phenomenon begin to behave very strangely. Owners can see cats or dogs watching someone invisible, following them with their eyes. Cats' fur stands on end, they begin to hiss, dogs begin to bark.
Animals also try not to stray far from their owners, trying to hide behind them from the uninvited guest, following on their heels or trying to hide in the owner’s bed.
At night, even more horror begins to happen: strange knocks, rustles, sounds. Animals watch all this with horror. Cats begin to meow strangely and loudly, dogs whine, as if asking their owners to stop this disturber of peace.
But animals do not understand that a person in this case is "blind" and does not intentionally allow the entity to disturb the peace. Only special rituals for consecrating the house will help to save oneself from otherworldly forces.
