Often the amount spent on gifts and entertainment during the holidays ends up being much more than what was originally planned.
Even if you managed to stay within your budget, next month you have to tighten your belt.
Of course, in such situations, people are inevitably accompanied by serious melancholy and irritation.
But this doesn’t mean that you should stop making yourself happy: even if you don’t have much money, you can still arrange small holidays for yourself.
First, review your diet. You don’t need to change it radically – just make a few changes, for example, replacing some harmful products with their healthier counterparts.
Choose from the same price category: instead of sweets and buns, buy fruits or dried fruits, and instead of sausage, buy meat from which you can make cutlets and chops.
Look for inexpensive seasonal vegetables in stores - they are also worth including in your diet to feel better.
Second, find other sources of joy. It doesn’t have to be shopping – new activities will do the trick just fine.
It's time to remember that the beginning of the year is the best time to introduce new healthy habits into your life.
Try asking yourself a challenge: try out as many different initiatives as you can for a month, and after 30 days, choose the ones you want to continue.
It could be simple walking, mastering a new set of exercises aimed at growing your buttocks, drawing or learning English. Or maybe you have a guitar that has been gathering dust on your balcony for a long time?
You will definitely be able to find something that will captivate you for a long time, and then sadness and discontent will no longer have a reason to linger near you.
