When the temperature rises above +30 degrees, it is simply impossible to leave the house without taking a bottle of water with you, because after just 5 minutes of being under the scorching sun you will certainly feel thirsty.

However, not all drinks are suitable for quenching thirst in hot weather.

First of all, you should stop drinking sweet soda and energy drinks.

Such drinking is not able to quench the feeling of thirst - on the contrary, it only increases dehydration and the desire to drink.

The list of “prohibited” items includes all sweet drinks – store-bought packaged juices, lemonades, fruit drinks and sweetened kvass.

You shouldn't drink too much coffee either, cold or hot.

Because caffeine increases vascular tone and disrupts heat transfer, this drink is unlikely to help you on a hot day.

Finally, in hot weather you should not drink alcohol (especially beer) – such drinks significantly increase the load on the heart and blood vessels, lead to intoxication and worsen dehydration.
